Whole-Home Renovations in Bethlehem, Staged Week by Week

When most of the house needs work, one renovation beats five separate ones. We map every room into stages, write down the weeks and tell you as each stage closes.

Why One Big Schedule Beats Several Small Ones

Tackling a house one room per year means opening the same walls again, moving furniture again and living with construction again. Planning it as one renovation lets the framing, the rerouted pipes and wiring, and the finishes happen in a sensible order.

That order becomes your written schedule, showing which rooms are out of use in which weeks and the point where each one comes back.

What a Whole-Home Project Can Cover

  • Layout changes

Taking out or moving walls, widening the opening between kitchen and living space, or reshaping a hallway, with structural questions settled before demolition goes on the calendar.

  • Systems inside the walls

Pipes and wiring rerouted to suit the new rooms while the walls are open, so the drywall stage happens once rather than twice and nothing gets patched later.

  • Kitchen and bath timing

If you are staying in the house, kitchen and bathroom work is sequenced so you are not left without both at the same time.

  • Finishes that match

Paint colors, trim profiles, doors and fixtures chosen once for the whole house, so the rooms look like they were finished together.

How the Stages Usually Fall

  1. Walkthrough and priorities

After the first phone call, we walk the house with you to agree on which rooms come first and what can wait if you are living there through the work.

  2. Structure and rough-in

Demolition, framing changes and the plumbing and electrical updates come first. Inspections, where required, are marked on the schedule so you know when the walls can close.

  3. Close-up and finish

Insulation, drywall, kitchens, baths, trim and paint follow in order. You get an update each time a stage ends and the next one begins.

Asked About Whole-Home Work

How long does a whole-home renovation take?

Most take a few months, and the biggest variable is how much of the structure changes. A cosmetic overhaul moves faster than one that relocates walls and drain lines. Each stage is listed on your schedule with a week range, and we call when one runs long.

Do we need to move out during the work?

Many households stay put by keeping one bathroom and a basic kitchen running through the job. When everything is opened at once, a few weeks away usually shortens the work, and the schedule shows when that stretch would fall.
